On November 11 - Veterans day as we remember those who fought for our freedom to live here in America - I was grateful to know that my Lota Ohana would be down to come to the Temple Open House. My Aunty Namahana Olivera sparked the candle and invited all the relatives who were non members to come and enjoy a beautiful day on the Temple Grounds.
My mom and dad were so grateful that we were able to share the light of Christ in some small way by going with them to the temple grounds and then having lunch at our house afterwards. It was fun to see all the cousins play, hang out and talk story and just be with each other which we haven't done in such along time.
I have much to be grateful for. I'm especially grateful that my parents opened our home to have lunch with the family, go to gravesite and pay our respects to our loved ones, and just have a great time spending time with each other. The little of our Good Works was only but a spark and hopefully it will become brighter and brighter through faith and prayers.
